Manufacturing Labels

Law labels are confusing, and we could easily devote pages to it. (Look for future blogs on this subject.) Down Regulations differ by state, too, which adds to the confusion.

A law label contains these three specifications: what’s inside (either goose or duck down, or feather) the percentage of fill in the product, and the fabric content. There is no such thing as “100% down” because it’s impossible to remove all the particles. It’s also illegal to make that claim. FTC regulations state that if a product contains 75% down, it may be labeled as down. Bella Linea's down and feather products exceed FTC regulations.
